Sam enjoys working on multiple projects around the central coast and has enjoyed his time at Rick Engineering so far!

Sam grew up in Arroyo Grande, and was introduced to hydraulics, water treatment, and civil engineering in high school. As a teenager, he worked at San Miguelito as a water treatment operator, the youngest water treatment operator in California history. After graduating high school, he moved to Provo, Utah and attended Brigham Young University. As a college student, Sam worked as an engineering intern in Public Works for Provo city, and taught in the hydraulics lab on campus. He graduated from BYU in 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Since graduating college, Sam moved back to the central coast and started working at Rick. In his free time, Sam enjoys spending time with his 6-month-old baby girl, Sophie, and wife, Adrienne. Together, they enjoy taking walks on the beach, hiking, and playing racquet sports.
