Holiday Mixer

On December 19, 2024, ASCE SLO Branch and YMF joined together for a festive lunchtime holiday mixer filled with networking and strategic planning for the upcoming year. 

Madonna Christmas Tree Night Hike

On December 05, 2024, ASCE YMF set out to hike the Madonna Christmas Tree starting at Rock Garden Trailhead. Filled with Christmas spirit and the brisk, chilly breeze, folks enjoyed the night hike under the stars. 

Joint Bowling

On November 07, 2024, ASCE's YMF and SCE SLO branches got together for a combined activity night of hitting some pins and throwing down some pizza at Mustang Lanes. 

Apple Picking

On October 19, 2024, ASCE YMF met up at the Avila Valley Barn to enjoy some festive, fall apple picking and then enjoyed some food at the Avila Valley Barn Chicken Shack and Smoke House. 

SLO Creek Cleanup

On September 21, 2024, YMF, ASCE SLO Branch, and APWA Central Coast participated in the Creeks to Coast Cleanup Day and helped clean up San Luis Obispo Creek in Downtown SLO! Afterwards, they enjoyed some lunch at Petra.

Climbing at the Pad

On August 24, 2024, YMF enjoyed a morning at the climbing gym! Afterwards, YMF got refreshments at Rod & Hammer Rock.

Palm Nipomo Parking Structure Tour

On June 27th, 2024, YMF toured the construction site for the new parking structure in the Cultural Arts District at the corner of Palm Street and Nipomo Street.

Farmer's Market Booth for National Public Works Week

On May 23rd, 2024, YMF and the SLO ASCE Branch hosted a booth at Farmer's Market for National Public Works Week!

Reservoir Canyon Hike

On May 8th, 2024, YMF enjoyed some of the fresh spring air and good company on a hike through Reservoir Canyon!

Anderson Hotel Technical Tour

On April 5th, 2024, YMF toured the Anderson Hotel Rehabilitation Project!

Scavenger Hunt

On March 28th, 2024, YMF used their critical thinking skills and knowledge of San Luis Obispo with a scavenger hunt around downtown SLO! Afterwards, they grabbed some food and refreshments at Woodstocks.

Golf Social

WRYMC 2024

On February 9th and 10th, 2024, some of SLO YMF's members attended the ASCE Western Region Younger Member Conference (WRYMC). Members enjoyed some great presentations and fun networking activities!

Trivia Night

On January 31, SLO YMF tested out their trivia knowledge and enjoyed some good refreshments and company at Bang the Drum!

Castle-to-Coast Run

On January 12, 2024 SLO YMF ran the Castle-to-Coast race! The group got to hang out and carbo-load the night before the race.
