Beach Bonfire and Potluck

On July 30, 2022 SLO YMF along with family and friends spent an evening on the beach for a bonfire and potluck!

Buckley Road Extension Technical Tour

 On June 24, 2022, SLO YMF took a tour of the Buckley Road Extension Project in San Luis Obispo! The tour was led by representatives of Wallace Group, the design engineering firm for the project. Afterwards, SLO YMF enjoyed refreshments at There Does Not Exist Brewing Company!

South Hills Hike and Social

On June 4, 2022, SLO YMF enjoyed a nice morning outside hiking South Hills Open Space! Afterwards, YMF met at Oak and Otter for some refreshments and games!

Farmer's Market Booth for National Public Works Week

On May 19, 2022 SLO YMF and the SLO ASCE Branch hosted a booth at the SLO Famer's Market for National Public Works Week. SLO YMF and ASCE had the opportunity to speak with members of the public from all ages and backgrounds about civil engineering!

Halter Ranch Winery Tour and Wine Tasting

On March 26, 2022 SLO YMF took part in a tour of the Halter Ranch Winery property! The tour was led by their staff oenologist who discussed the chemistry behind making their wine as well as the property's commitment to sustainability in the wine industry.  After the tour, SLO YMF tasted a flight of the venue's best wines. 

Atascadero Technical Tour

On March 11, 2022 SLO YMF took part in a tour of planned and completed downtown projects for the City of Atascadero! The tour was led by representatives of both the City of Atascadero Public Works Department and Z Villages, the La Plaza developer. Afterwards, SLO YMF enjoyed refreshments at Ancient Owl while also learning about the design and construction of their container building!

Kayaking in Morro Bay

On February 27, 2022 SLO YMF spent the morning kayaking around Morro Bay's back bay!

Montana de Oro Hike
